Pineapple Bread

1 cup crushed pineapple -- undrained (8.5 ounces)
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup sifted all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon soda
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup unsifted whole-wheat flour
3/4 cup dark brown sugar -- firmly packed
3 tablespoons soft butter
2 large eggs

Mix pineapple and raisins; set aside. Sift next 4 ingredient onto paper; add walnuts and whole-wheat flour. In mixing bowl, combine sugar, butter and eggs; beat well. Stir in half flour mixture, then pineapple and raisins, then rest of flour, beating just until blended each time. Spoon into greased 9 X 5 X 3" loaf pan. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° about 1 hour or until done.
